Leadership: Internship Program Design
CHALLENGE: Formalize and enhance Nemo Design's internship program to improve talent recruitment and the intern experience.
ACTION: Reimagined the user experience through program planning, a syllabus, welcome kits, gamification, and social takeovers. Developed brand identity and social campaign targeted at prospective interns. Instituted formal onboarding, training, mentoring, and presentation opportunities.
IMPACT: Interns gained professional portfolio pieces and built their network while staff strengthened mentoring abilities. Streamlined onboarding within the organization. Many interns were hired full-time, elevating the talent pool.
